coins—or similar objects—before without noticing them.
The “Coincidence” Effect
Finding a coin shortly after thinking about money can feel meaningful.
For example, suppose you’re worried about paying a bill.
You leave your house thinking about your finances.
Ten minutes later, you find a coin.
Your brain may immediately connect the two events.
This is completely understandable.
Humans are naturally inclined to identify patterns and relationships between events.
Sometimes those relationships are meaningful.
Sometimes they’re coincidences.
The important thing is not necessarily to decide that every coincidence is a supernatural message.
